The white ceramic/porcelain plate is decorated with ornate gold scrollwork and a thin gilt rim. The central design features the Belgian coat of arms with crowned heraldic lions and Belgian flags, surrounded by the bilingual inscription "Souvenir de Belgique / Gedenkenis van België."
The reverse is unmarked but retains a mounted hanging hook for wall display.
